Well this is my latest little water feature, it’s as you can see a seesaw; the water is fed from one of the tanks into the centre of the seesaw and in the centre is a rolling ball valve so that when the seesaw is down the ball rolls to a washer, and stops the water flowing downhill, then it has to pump to the high side. Then the high side falls because of the weight and then the ball rolls down to that side, etc.
It’s working very well now, I think its quite a good mechanism. If I can get a little bit closer you might be able to see the little copper men, which are literally copper pipe, there.
That’s the valve arrangement on its pivot and those are two separate tanks linked with a little link tube, it’s not necessary to have two tanks but I couldn’t find one big enough. So there we have it.
